WORK

A collection of my works.

Workhuman

Workhuman is an HR rewards platform with the goal of building greater connections between employees and employers, all through their proprietary success and management tracking software, paired with a shop available for users to purchase products with partnered brands through their points system.

While I was originally brought onboard for an Art Director position, during an organization restructuring, a formal UI/UX team was established and a UI design position opened - I jumped at this opportunity and made the transition to UI Design as my practice in at the end of 2021.

UI Design

Our first objective as the UI/UX team was to refresh the existing Workhuman website with a formal and updated design system, while also establishing a proper process for our work alongside our team of developers. Although a system in Figma was already in use by the Product Design team, we realized we would need to redesign elements to better suit our marketing and web needs, all in Adobe XD.

Throughout the remainder of 2022, we created an updated, responsive design system to better match the company and product.

WORKHUMAN LIVE: SAN DIEGO

One of the biggest initiatives at Workhuman is their bi-annual Workhuman Live conference, a 3-day event that occurs twice a year, one held in the United States and another held in Europe. These conferences attract thousands of visitors and HR specialists to learn more about the industry and future trends. To prepare for previous events, the company had outsourced the design and marketing material to outside agencies and vendors, resulting in a fragmented brand look and feel each time.

As part of the company’s new internal UI/UX team, we were assigned to build the foundation for future events.

This would include working closely with the Brand Team and developers to create designs that would be aligned with the main site and creating components that would be reused with each upcoming event.

The material on the left were the last of the outsourced designs, while the material on the right present the new components the Workhuman Live events would adhere to moving forward.

Social & Display ads

My previous work as an Art Director at Workhuman included working on new ad campaigns and updating email newsletters to compliment upcoming events such as webinars and conferences, as well as public white paper releases.

This also included giving the existing format of ads a modern, refreshed look.

Email Newsletters & Landing pages

As Art Director, I also worked with a small team of freelancers to give the Workhuman newsletters and landing pages a refreshed look. Challenges included working within the constraints of the Marketo marketing management platform, while staying true to the Workhuman brand.

While establishing a formal workflow process for future assignments, I had also created responsive components to compliment different design constraints; this would expedite the turnaround and process for freelancers and other third-party partners. Units would adjust automatically to keep settings such as padding consistent throughout.
